Do It For The Culture 2026 Vancouver Lineup
Vancouver, BC, The fifth edition of Do It For The Culture 2026 has officially announced its first wave of artists, marking a major milestone as the platform moves to Vancouver for the first time. The festival will take place from August 27–29, 2026, expanding its reach after four successful years in Kelowna.
Early bird passes are now available, opening access to one of Western Canada’s fastest-growing cultural and music industry events.
A Landmark Vancouver Debut
Founded by Vancouver-based, Botswana-born artist Teon Gibbs, DI4TC was created to address systemic barriers faced by Black artists in Canada’s music industry. Over the years, it has evolved from a curated showcase series into a nationally recognized platform connecting artists with audiences, industry professionals, and career-building opportunities.
The move to Vancouver signals a strategic expansion into one of Canada’s most dynamic cultural hubs, reinforcing DI4TC’s mission to scale opportunities for Black music communities across the country.

Headliner SadBoi continues to gain recognition for her hybrid sound blending dancehall, R&B, and hip-hop, positioning her as one of Canada’s most exciting breakout voices.
RAAHiM brings emotionally driven R&B and smooth vocal production, while ARDN’s atmospheric and experimental sound design continues to attract national attention.
A Platform Built for Industry Access and Growth
Over its previous four editions, Do It For The Culture has hosted artists such as TOBi, Nonso Amadi, DijahSB, Shad, Jon Vinyl, and KALLITECHNIS.
The platform has also attracted industry delegates from SiriusXM, CBC, record labels, agencies, festivals, and management companies, making it a key networking space within Canada’s music ecosystem.
According to founder Teon Gibbs:

Expanding the Cultural Impact
DI4TC 2026 will continue to showcase talent across hip-hop, R&B, Afro-fusion, house, and experimental genres, while also expanding its conference programming and industry engagement initiatives.
Gibbs emphasized that the Vancouver edition represents a natural evolution:
