rOMA Returns with “TUTTOMONDO”: A Bold Independent Statement of Sound and Soul

One year after the emotional and poetic release of Puff, Italian singer-songwriter rOMA, real name Vincenzo Romano,  returns with TUTTOMONDO, his fourth EP and perhaps his most intimate and radical project to date. Released completely independently, without the support of a label, TUTTOMONDO is more than an album. It’s a manifesto. A declaration of identity and a powerful reminder of what it means to be an artist today.

Vincenzo Romano romaThis EP is the result of deep, authentic collaboration. Musicians, illustrators, and friends joined forces in a fully DIY effort  from production to artwork to the communication strategy. Every aspect reflects a shared vision rooted in trust, passion, and the vibrant soul of Italy’s independent scene.

Musically, TUTTOMONDO blends the timeless songwriting style of greats like Lucio Dalla, Rino Gaetano and Brunori Sas, with a modern edge that is uniquely rOMA. His lyrics confront the chaos of today’s world with clarity and courage, denouncing a culture obsessed with appearance and speed. The digital noise of social media, he suggests, is drowning out real connection, leaving a generation suspended between alienation and rage.

Standout track Nun torna cchiù, sung in Neapolitan dialect, addresses gender-based violence with rare emotional power. Insieme, another key song, plays with both language and sound, pushing further into experimentation. These aren’t just songs,  they’re statements. Urgent, poetic, and brave.

While TUTTOMONDO maintains the observational storytelling that defines rOMA’s earlier works, this new release is sharper, deeper, and more ambitious. The arrangements are bolder, the palette more varied, and the themes extend far beyond the personal. He’s no longer just narrating life, he’s confronting its illusions.

The album TUTTOMONDO was co-produced by Alfonso “Fò” Cimirro, mixed by Antonio Senesi, and features striking cover art by Christian Russo, aka CHRUS. In the studio, rOMA surrounded himself with trusted collaborators: Giovanni Di Cunzolo on electric guitar, Nicola Toro on drums, Giovanni Palladino on bass, Domenico Ingenito on strings (featured on Il regno dei cieli), and Cimirro on piano and synths.

Vincenzo Romano, known artistically as rOMA, has been active on the Italian music scene for over 20 years. He debuted in 2017 with Solo posti in piedi in paradiso via Seahorse Recordings, followed by 1982 (2021) and Puff (2023). With each release, his music has grown deeper, bolder, and more resonant, blending melody with meaning.

Over the years, he has opened for artists such as Daniele Silvestri, Omar Pedrini, and Steve Wynn, and reached the finals of Premio Bindi in 2021. But TUTTOMONDO is more than just his latest EPit’s a declaration. A place where independent voices can grow, create, and resist. A world built on art, truth, and community. A world that finally feels like home.
